FLIGHT – three solos for vibraphone
“The album stems from my great passion and fascination with flying. Impressions experienced during the flight were the inspiration for these songs. In addition, to music and composing; my great passion is paragliding. I have been paraglider pilot since 1998, currently I am flying solo and as a tandem pilot.”
Soaring in the Sky
“It is a musical illustration that describes the views, impressions, and sensations during the flight. Beautiful weather, clear skies, calm flight. The second part (D) is a kind of experience of thermal lifting up. More action. And then the continuation of a peaceful relaxing flight. Feeling of freedom, sailing in the sky, admiring nature from upstairs.”
Alteratorium
“On the musical side, it a jazz ballad constructed like a standard tune that could be performed by a jazz trio. The song is a bit drowsy, slow-moving; it can be treated as a lullaby, often leaving listeners with the emotions – relax, freedom, and rest.”
